Last week, we visited a small but aspiring Britannic company, LEM (Les Élastomères Moulés), installed halfway between Vannes and Rennes. Located in the town of Sérent and anchored in Morbihan (Brittany) since 1994.
This company, bought by a young entrepreneur, Guillaume De Chantérac, in 2018, is present on the elastomer market since 1945. Besides, it has the capacity and knowledge of moulding, bonding (or over moulding) and cutting parts of all types of the later material.
LEM works with more than 350 formulas of elastomer, Silicone, Natural rubber, Polyurethane (PU), EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Butyl, Hypalon, Viton, ...
Capable of producing all types of moulded parts, they offer custom designs for materials varying from 0.1g to several kg.
Its production ranges from caps, bellows, membranes, sleeves to other products: shock absorbers, membranes, needle guard, funnel, flat seal, tape, suction cup, ring, roller, coating... Relying on experienced staff, the company has a fleet of machines capable of meeting all technical and application challenges following the customer's qualitative and quantitative constraints while respecting deadlines. Ranging from standard parts to tailor-made, LEM adapts to all special requests.
Present in various fields like rail transport, cosmetics, agro-industry, mechanical industry, pharmaceutical, defence... The company is now seeking to develop in new export markets. Building on the dynamism of its leader, Guillaume de Chantérac, the company vows to exports and be represented in countries with high market potential.
SEPEC Consults SAS is delighted to cooperate with LEM in this adventure by bringing its expertise in the industrial and energy fields to an area ranging from Europe, Asia, the Middle East or North America.
